Tradable assets on the CCE

CCE applies the principles of traditional commodity exchange structures to carbon credits. Just like digital receipts for transactions for traditional commodities such as corn, soybeans, and crude oil, these receipts represent items stored in warehouses with predefined specifications.

Similarly, we offer carbon credits and other environmental credits as tradable assets. We organize credit for the markets we serve. Credit is held in trusts, and whenever credit is deposited in trusts, the corresponding amount of carbon is present on the exchange

CCE CORSIA CARBON CREDIT (CCC)

Each Corsia Carbon Credit Trading (CCC) represents one carbon credit that meets the requirements of the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA)'s pilot phase, which spans from 2021 to 2023.

CCE NATURE CARBON CREDIT (NCC)

The NCC series was specifically designed to cater to buyers with a particular interest in nature-based solutions. Each NCC token corresponds to a carbon credit generated through a nature-based project.

CCE RENEWABLE CARBON CREDIT (RCC)

Each Renewable Carbon Credit (RCC) represents one carbon credit generated by a renewable energy project.

CCE HOUSEHOLD CARBON CREDIT (HCC)

Each Household Carbon Credit (HCC) represents a carbon credit that has been generated from a project focused on improving cooking solutions.

CCE NON-EXCHANGE CARBON CREDIT (NEC)

Each Non-Exchange Carbon Credit (NEC) represents a carbon credit that has been issued through a Market Registry that meets the eligibility criteria but does not fulfil any other specific requirements of an CCEcontract.
